The Australian Sunflower Association are looking to run Better Sunflower Workshops in 2021. If you are interested in attending, please contact our Coordinator, Meg Kummerow, at email@example.com to be put on the EOI list.
The Australian Sunflower Association, Agforce Queensland, Biosecurity Queensland, the Grains Research and Development Corporation Limited, Toowoomba Regional Council & Southern Downs Regional Council have been working on addressing the issue of biosecurity on sunflower farms in the lead up to flowering.
As many growers are aware, the beauty of sunflower fields in full bloom has in previous seasons attracted the attention of photographers from all points on the compass. This has lead to dangerous situations on roads, particularly the Southern Downs Region.
You can visit the dedicated site to promoting sunflower farm biosecurity at www.australiansunflowers.com.au
Better Sunflower Accredited Advisers are available to assist in most regions with dryland and irrigated agronomy, and management of pests, weeds and pathogens of sunflowers.
We have collated many documents relating to sunflowers over many years. Click the link above to visit the full library of documents
We have made available online our older Big Yellow Sunflower Pack. For the most up to date version, attend one of our workshops.
